trivia
[edit]In the Trivia Section it's hinted at "in the teaser trailer, he's running with the good guys. This hints at him returning to good"
Great, however Teaser Trailer? there's been Teaser trailers for all the games, at the very least call it Mortal Kombat 6(is that what we are up to) if you have no other name for the game.
If it's about Shaolin Monks, that can have a more definitive tone, as well as being before the info about that game. And the trivia from Shaolin Monks is a bit clunky. Are you saying the game's story is wrong or different, or people's impressions of the story.
Where'd the top of his head go?!
[edit]I noticed something really strange in my copy of Armageddon for PS2. When Kung's decapitated, the top of his head goes missing (along with his hat). When he throws his hat, that top part of his head is all there.
...weird, huh? It's probably a bug they didn't go over. I'm wondering if anyone may have any explanations as to why this is.
At any rate, I wonder if that's mentionable or if I'm the only one who's seen this happen.
- Even if it's not an isolated incident, it's not really worth mentioning. My technical guess would be that when he throws his hat, the game automatically splices in a texture to cover the top of his head, and somehow this texture was dropped from the decapitation animation - was this all of the KAF decaptiations, or only one? - Not mentionable? Understandable. =)
- As for your question... All of them that involve such, yes. I've noticed this very thing also happens in the death traps that break the body apart (examples such as the Armory's giant roller, the Sky Temple stage, ect.). Ralf Loire 06:43, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

Question
[edit]What is the difference between Aura Spinning Shield and 3D Shield? From their descriptions they appear to be the same thing. MrDrak 16:18, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:KungLaoMK.jpg
[edit]Image:KungLaoMK.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Merge Great Kung Lao into here
[edit]Anyone object to that? Otherwise that article seems like a good idea for AfD fodder.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 20:58, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
De ja vu!
[edit]For some odd reason, in my PS2 version of Armaggedon, Kung Lao always keeps appearing in his costume from SHaolin Monks. The first time I saw this I yelled out a curse word really loud. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.235.184.164 (talk) 08:03, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
Kung Lao
[edit]I unmerged Kung Lao's article for good reason. WP:COMMON is the basis for my reasoning, but I am not saying the person who did so had no common sense.
Kung Lao, might be the most recognizable MK character (besides the ninjas) created. I mean, who else in the history of video games attacks with his hat, especially a blade-trimmed hat? However, recognizability does not equate with notability (albeit the fact that both are very similar).
Kung Lao, was the secondary protagonist of Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks surely there must be some reception of this character, being that he was main character of a game. But being a main character, does not equate with notability.
However, being such an important and recognizable character must mean he must have some form of reception, and considering the character has been created since 1993 there must be much of it.
This merge also hurts the List of Mortal Kombat characters page, since it already contradicts with WP:LONG. I will soon remove his portion from the list, and begin working on his reception.
I behoove you to assist me with adding to his article because, he of all early Mortal Kombat characters, would be easy to find information about him.
