Wanting to make edits
[edit]Hi, everyone. So hopefully there is someone a lot smarter than me who can help me make edits to this page. I transcribe records for the National Archives online and came across a very racially insensitive resolution that was passed by several Elks Lodges in 1942. This isnt to harm the Elks but to show what it was like living in American during WWII and the crazy beliefs that people held against the Japanese in the Pacific States. Highlighting this thinking is important and since the subject is very sensitive I didnt want to make my first entry a butcher job. The document is located here (https://catalog.archives.gov/id/48453422/30/public?contributionType=transcription). The document and related pages are in [R3.03] Public File (Part 2 of 3) pages 28-33. They are records for Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, Evacuee Property Department. If you read the records, you'll see what I mean and why I think its an important piece of history that should be documented. CharlieeFoxtrot (talk) 23:59, 20 July 2022 (UTC)
